Your game,
your data.
Your matches live on your iPhone and Apple Watch. No account, no third-party tracking. The only data that reaches our servers is: matches you explicitly share via link, AI analyses you request, and small anonymous counts at the end of each match (mode, duration, number of points, no names). The last one can be turned off in the app's Settings.
Data we collect
Almost nothing. The app contents (your matches, players, events, notes) stay on your iPhone and never leave it unless you explicitly share a match or request an AI analysis. We do collect a small set of anonymous counters at the end of each match (see section below); you can disable that with one tap in Settings.
Where your matches live
Every match you record is stored locally using Apple's SwiftData, on your iPhone. Matches created on your Apple Watch are transferred to your iPhone using Apple's built-in Watch Connectivity framework, and stay on your device. We never see them.
Analytics and tracking
PadelRatio contains no third-party analytics SDK, no tracking pixels, no advertising identifiers, no cookies in the app. We do collect first-party anonymous match-completion counters at the end of each match — see the dedicated section below. You can disable them in Settings → Privacy → "Help improve PadelRatio".
Contact and feedback
If you write to us through our contact form, we obviously see your email address and the content of your message. We use that only to reply to you. We do not add you to any list.
Sharing a match as a link
Each finished match has a "Share as link" button. Tapping it uploads that specific match (players, events, notes, score, any custom colors) to our server at padelratio.com. The upload also includes an anonymous, randomly-generated identifier created locally by the app the first time you launch it; it lets us group your own shared matches in our admin panel without identifying you. No PII (email, name, IP) is associated with this identifier, and deleting the app deletes it. You get a public URL like padelratio.com/g/a7f3b2k that anyone with the link can open. No account is required, to create or to view. Links don't expire automatically. If you want a link deleted, write to us through the contact form. Sharing as text or as an image (the other two share options) keeps everything on your device and uploads nothing.
AI match analysis (optional)
If you tap "Generate analysis" on a match, its contents (events, player names, notes, score) are sent through our server to Anthropic's Claude API to produce a coach-style reading. Anthropic does not train on API data by default and retains request logs for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring. The generated text is cached on our server (keyed by a content fingerprint, so the same match isn't re-analysed on subsequent views) and stored inside the app on your iPhone. Nothing leaves your device until you tap that button. To have a cached analysis deleted, write to us through the contact form.
Anonymous match-completion counters
When you finish a match, the app sends a small set of anonymous counters to our server: the match mode (solo, doubles, full court), its duration, the total number of points and how many were winners or unforced errors, the number of sets, plus device context (model, iOS version, region, time zone, language, app version). It does not send player names, point-by-point details, or any match content. The only stable identifier is an anonymous UUID generated by the app on first launch — it lets us count distinct installs for retention metrics, but is not linked to your Apple ID or any other personal information, and is destroyed when you delete the app. We use these counters in aggregate only, to understand whether the app is being used (active installs, mode mix, share rate) and to spot bugs (matches abandoned shortly after starting). You can turn this off at any time in Settings → Privacy → "Help improve PadelRatio". Past counters cannot be retroactively deleted because we do not retain any way to map them back to a specific install.
Changes to this policy
If we ever materially change how PadelRatio handles your data, we will update this page and add a notice in the app. Since we currently collect nothing, any change would be a clear addition rather than a silent shift.
